HTML param Tag

  • HTML <param> tag is provides parameters for embedded <object> element. Typically <param> tag specifies a set of parameters Which are required by embedded object at the run-time.

  • HTML <param /> tag is a self-closing tag.

HTML <param> tag support following specific attributes.

Attributes Value Description
name text Specify the name of the parameter.
value value Specify the value of the parameter.
Following attributes has been removed in HTML5.
type MIME_type Specify the MIME type of parameter.
