HTML tbody Tag

  • HTML <tbody> tag is used for grouping table rows. That represents body of data for the <table> element.

  • HTML <tbody> element must be a direct descendant of the <table> element. The <tbody> element is used in conjunction with the <thead> and <tfoot> elements that specifies table header, table footer respectively.

HTML <tbody> tag support following specific attributes. All following attributes has been removed in HTML5.

char character Deprecated. Specifies the alignment of the specific character. This attribute used only with when align="char".
