HTML font Tag

  • HTML <font> tag defines a font size, font face and font color for its text. The <font> tag is a container tag.

  • Using size attribute you can set font size. Valid values is from 1 (smallest size) to 7 (largest size). And the default font size is 3.

  • HTML <font> tag remove in HTML5 specification.

<font> Tag Attributes

HTML <font> tag support following specific attributes.

Attributes Value Description
color colorname
#XXXXXX
rgb(X, X, X)		 Specify the color of text.
face fontname Specify the font family of text.
You can specify alternate font faces by comma separated.
size number Specify the size of text. Values range from 1 to 7.
